Major Achievements in Football: 3 year varsity letterman as a player, played on 2012 team that was 11-2 and made it to state semifinals, 18-1 record as JV head coach, coached Cornerbacks in 2023 Cleats vs. Cancer All-Star high school football game, head coach of Mt Si Girls 7 on 7 Flag Football Team.
Coaching philosophy: My coaching philosophy as an offensive play caller is to take advantage of what a defense is giving us, exploit mismatches, and do what it takes to win each game. Every game is different, and you must be adaptable to the kind of game that is unfolding.

Varsity - Technology & HUDL Specialist
Played 7 years, coaching for 25+years and won 1 championships (1 Quebec and 1 Capital HS in Olympia WA). Coaching with MSHS for the past 7 years and the past 5 years my role is film manager, it includes (but not limited to): coordination of the video crew (7 Cameramen), Hudl manager (for rosters, coaches, playbook, game/practice schedule, etc.), managing team video in Hudl (all practices, games and opponent scout, post game posting cut game film for coaches use), maintain our 5 IP cameras systems at MSHS Stadium operational.

Entering his 9th Year coaching at Mt. Si, Brian graduated from Eastlake high school in 1996 and then spent 6 years in the Navy. He then walked on and played Outside Linebacker at the University of Washington where he lettered twice and won scout player of the week twice (vs. Oregon and Washington State) as well as Tyee Council Award for community outreach.
He helped coach football at Chief Kanim during the 07 season and at Twin Falls the 09 season before moving up to the high school level where he is now the head coach of the Freshmen football team. “I just want to thank the staff here for giving me an opportunity to coach and give back to a game that has given me so much.”
